About Us
Aubrey and Lisa Miller are the owners of It's Your Party Entertainment, Inc. Lisa founded It's Your Party Entertainment in the spring of 2000 and Aubrey joined It's Your Party Entertainment in February 2003. Their commitment to excellence and dedication has resulted in having earned the coveted 'Best of Weddings DJ' 2009' and 2008' awards from The Knot magazine Aubrey and Lisa are also very proud of the awards given to them by Modern Bride Magazine for the years 2006 and 2007, naming them as one of the 'Top DJs in the Nation". They were also awarded the Wedding Survey.com DJ of the Year award in 2003. These national award winning recognitions were given in part for their work personalizing weddings through the use of their signature events and dedication to superior customer service.
Lisa has served as a National Vice-President for the National Association of Mobile Entertainers from 2006 to spring of 2008. Lisa also served as a founding executive board member for the Arizona State chapter of the American Disc Jockey Association (AZADJA) beginning in 2002, stepping down in 2005 to become the entertainment chair for the 2006 National Conference for the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE). Aubrey served on the local boards of the AZADJA and NACE. In addition, he served as entertainment co-chair, contributing to the NACE conference for hundreds of event professionals from around the country.
Lisa and Aubrey are dedicated to continually raising their skill levels by attending educational seminars nationally and locally and are actively involved in networking for new and innovative ideas with other professional mobile entertainers and wedding event professionals. They have both been sitting board members of the Phoenix Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) and they are current members of both the Phoenix chapter of the American Disc Jockey Association and the National Association of Mobile Entertainers.
As part of her continuing education, Lisa has recently completed her coursework as a certified wedding consultant (C.W.C.) through Independent Wedding Consultants of America. This has allowed her to offer her clients an additional level of comprehensive planning options and fresh and contemporary ideas.
Prior to dedicating their full-time work to the wedding entertainment industry, Aubrey and Lisa have accumulated over 30 years of combined experience in the hospitality and service industry. This background has given them a rare insight into the inner workings of the other members of a vendor team and it allows Aubrey and Lisa to anticipate their needs to help ensure seamless interaction with other vendors.

Natives of the Northwest, Aubrey and Lisa both moved to the Phoenix area in 1991 to attend Arizona State University, although
they did not cross paths until many years later. Aubrey graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in finance in 1997
and received his Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Phoenix in 2001, has his CIA certification and is sitting for the CPA exam as well. Lisa has been pursuing her degree in marketing from The University of Phoenix. Aubrey and Lisa were married in October of 2004 at the Millennium Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.
